- Facilitating kick off meetings, providing direction and launching RFPs in native or client’s preferred platform
- Negotiating, editing and finalizing contracts and addenda to ensure terms offer the least amount of financial risk, best concessions and highest ROI to the client
- Offering creative solutions and alternative options when initial cities/venues may not be available or financially viable
- Centralizing Sourcing and Procurement Departments for clients in order to streamline the RFP and contracting process
- Utilizing DOMO (aggregate data/business intelligence tool) data to determine best practices for creating preferred agreements with hotels within specific markets
- In cases where cancellation is necessary, working with hotel/venue partners to assuage the situation and reduce the fiscal burden to the client, or propose a rebook situation
- Creating training documents and facilitating internal training for colleagues to improve standardization in sourcing, negotiations across the department
- Arranging client site visits, participating in FAMs, webinars and other industry events, and scheduling site visits on personal time, in order to stay abreast of current hotel openings, updates and market trends
