Aug. 2007 - Jan. 2012Joined the FA - London (LFA) as Marketing and Communications Manager, where I co-ordinated the companies brand promotion, streamline how the business is run to ensure that our customers are getting the best service possible and increased sponsorship potential of the products offered. Placing a strong emphasis on direct marketing. Strategy Development - Create four year marketing strategy that would work at a regional level but would also ensure consistency with the National Game Strategy. This covered both B2B and B2C and explored new elements of marketing such as social media. B2B - Develop relationships with business across London that would both increase the LFA brand awareness but also increase customer satisfaction. Success included a strong partnership with Fulham FC resulting in a 300% increase in Jr. Club Day sales. Budget Management - Total budget control for the marketing department, responsible for management and allocation. Sponsorship- Use and increase the current revenue opportunities open to the LFA, by developing and implementing sponsorship strategies and managing staff in this area. Signed off 6 sponsorship deals for the 2010-11 season. Lead on London FA's Champions League Festival at Hyde Park with UEFA, huge success both with participation numbers and exposure. Direct Marketing - Utilise the FA's strong direct marketing ability. The LFA have never utilised DM, we developed a strong strategy for DM both for brand development and sponsorship opportunities.
