Jul. 2014Baltimore, Maryland Area• Set and execute a design direction and creative strategy for in-house produced publications and other projects, including bulletins, newsletters, applications, official documents, citations, presentations, etc.
• Develop creative, imagery, and graphics for print advertisement, posters, brochures, etc.
• Develop creative, imagery, and graphics for online channels, including time-based banner advertisement, e-newsletters, electronic mail templates, etc.
• Work with, and in some cases, supervise the work of external designers.
• Photograph various campus events, including receptions, speeches, graduations, classes, extracurricular events, etc., and engage in post-photography image correction processes.
• Serve as campus video production manager, capturing important events on video and editing and producing the video in a professional manner.
• Staging video or photography shoots to help promote the brand of the College.
• Properly archive and maintain video and photographic artifacts. • Ensure that the technology of the communications department is continuously up to date, including creative software, computer hardware, and essential photographic and video hardware.
