Events: Planning and execution of multiple events, including the annual world fitness expo. Worked closely with this team to support a gruelling schedule of events that required both remote planning as well as regular travel with extremes of hours and effort. Marketing Solutions: Sales and service for all things advertising and promotion, including sponsorship and booth sales, magazine and online advertising, as well as other promotional opportunities. Encouraged and pushed the team to bring together unconnected assets to better serve our clients. Finance & Accounting: Management of the financial health of the company from bookkeeping to financial analysis and planning. Helped translate the need for financial literacy and reporting between this team and others, to facilitate strategic planning. IT Services: Development and implementation of internal programming for legacy software platform as well as IT support for the company. Supported the communications between IT contractors, internal stakeholders, and built a substantial IT team that were highly valued and integrated into the overall company. I also indirectly oversaw 3 additional teams:
Certification: The development and delivery of multiple certification programs. Membership: The sales and service of multiple levels of membership and delivery of member benefits. Customer Relations: The front line (call centre and online) interaction with new and returning members and those seeking information about what we offered. My primary roles included:
