In addition, authorized to obligate $1,920,000 per year for single purchases using a government purchase card to procure pharmaceuticals and other supplies utilized by the Department of Pharmacy
• Decreased inventory cost by improving efficiency of supply chain order cycle through trend analysis, increase forecasting, reconfiguration of inventory from push to pull demand, and occasional review of product Reorder Points (ROPs).
• Increased supply chain responsiveness by increasing the number of pharmaceutical sources through researching and establishing new contractual agreements with third-party merchants.
- Evaluated all potential Request for Quotes (RFQs) to determine if prices/costs are fair and reasonable and in the best interest for the Government.
-Initiated and monitored contract requisitions, award, and implementation. Execution included compiling a requisition package that included RFQs, amarket research report, a projected cost analysis using an Independent Government Cost Estimate (ICGE), a Service Contract Approval Form (SCAF), Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Statement of Work (SOW), and a Justification & Approval to Sole Source if required. -Performed contract modifications request; including removal of S.A.F., cost changes, and product quantities
-Designated WAWF Acceptor and COR for all non-personnel Pharmacy contracts by reviewing claims for accuracy prior to acceptance and escalation to the Local Processing Official (LPO); as well as monitored contract performance through maintained spreadsheets of all obligated funds and requesting additional funding request when authorized.
