- Coordinating highly skilled IT staff in order to ensure the effective creation and implementation of support management systems. - Managing a complete overhaul of a 15 year plus legacy environment.
- Overseeing all IT requests and planning/deploying the latest trend infrastructure features for the business. - Undertaking routine architectural evaluations of hardware and software platforms in order to analyse their performance and recommend changes based one specific requirements. - Implementing a best practice tools and ensuring effective ITIL alignment. - Architectural solutioning: conceiving and taking existing Infrastructure concepts in order to transform them into everyday Infrastructure components
- Managing all key projects, ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget. - Managing the creation and maintenance of hardware configuration plans in order to add to operational efficiency and technical clarity. - Conducting due diligence to ensure all new services are suitable for use. - Ensuring all incidents and BAU requests are documented, responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all staff members adhere to company procedure and industry best practice at all times.
- Gathering business requirements to enable technical understanding of how projects will be realised and implemented. - Root cause analysis: analysing technical issues and create a sustainable solution with minimum business disruption
- Creating technical documentation where required to increase clarity and efficiency. - Overseeing all areas of business continuity and disaster recovery planning, as well as system security and data confidentiality.
- Planning, developing and governing company IT networks (including, database management, networks, and IT support).
- Infrastructure Project Manager: working with vendors, and negotiating contracts for equipment and services.
