Main Responsibilities & Projects Developed:
- Create a marketing strategy for the development of all activities, in order to maximizing the results, namely the increase in the flow of tourists to Macao, length of stay and per capita expenses of these visitors.
- Systematically monitor the market conditions and possible visitor trends.
- Assist Macao tourism professionals interested in developing activities.
- Establish partnerships with official, national and international organizations to promote Macao as well with local media.
- Establish a communication plan for the social media and the website.
- Provide information to economic operators and consumers.
- Organize Fam Trips to Macao for tour operators, travel agencies, journalists, etc.
In addition to the responsibility of coordinating a team of eight workers and external suppliers, planning, managing, and executing the operational budget and the budget allocated to the markets, highlights the following activities:
- The participation of Macao Tourism in the main tourism fairs such as FITUR, BTL, Mundo and Expo Abreu, and various travel roadshows;
- Macao as the international guest destination of BTL and a favourite destination of APAVT in 2019;
- The organization of large-scale events, as well the organization and participation in several cultural events;
- The increase in the number of visitors to Macao - from Portugal and Spain - and the highest average length of stay in European markets, an increase of 7.1 % in 2019.
- The distinction of Macao Tourism with the "Publituris Travel Awards", in the category of best foreign representation office, for its visibility in the market in 2019.
