Work Background
Self-EmployedDirector/Producer
Nov. 2021 - Aug. 2023Salt Lake City Metropolitan AreaWith most of my previous work centered around healthcare and healthcare providers, I've been grateful to utilize the past few years to branch out and work with many other brands, clients, agencies, and production companies. This has included projects with Canvas, Centura, Entrata, PACS, and The Salvation Army. The more I direct and produce, the more it becomes apparent that the crew and contacts I surround myself with are what truly make a good project. I pride myself on the network I've built, knowing that everyone from a claymation artist to an animal trainer is a phone call away.
Go FilmsStory Producer - "Come Follow Up"
Oct. 2021 - Oct. 2022Provo, Utah, United StatesWorking with the executive and supervising producers, I assembled episodes for the third and fourth seasons of the "Come Follow Up" TV show and its supplementary digital content. This process was everything from pre-production through post. This included researching and outlining each episode, finding the appropriate guest with an applicable background, directing the episode on the day of production, and reviewing content cuts after filming.
Faktory, Inc.Director/Producer
Dec. 2017 - Nov. 2021Greater Salt Lake City AreaAfter building a successful video department at R&R Partners, a neighboring agency, Faktory, approached me to come and do the same. With a large, new facility being built, I came in at the perfect time to dedicate some of their physical space to the production process. This included studio space and an editing suite. We were full service, providing digital and broadcast production for clients that included Intermountain Healthcare, Dominion, Ken Garff, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and others.
R&R PartnersHead of Video Production - SLC
May. 2015 - Dec. 2017Greater Salt Lake City AreaAfter a short stint in the startup world, I was asked to return to R&R to build a video department in the Salt Lake City office. This allowed us to offer more responsive video options to our clients and the ability to better adapt to ever-shortening timelines and shrinking budgets. With the copywriters one floor above us, our team was able to collaborate with them in a way that solved problems before any final draft was published or shared with client. This created more realistic expectations and, in turn, a better end product. Initially, our SLC team focused on digital content, but as our abilities and team grew, we were full-service and primarily producing broadcast materials. Clients included LVCVA, Kneaders, Governor Gary Herbert, WayToQuit, and Parents Empowered.
SpinGoSocial Media Manager
Jan. 2015 - May. 2015Greater Salt Lake City AreaWith the creative director wanting to focus on video content, I was asked to join the SpinGo team and to utilize my production skills in their social media efforts.
