I am responsible for working with and advising high-level management on matters of supervision, employment law and best practices. Responsible for reviewing, researching and implementing long-term plans to maintain department compliance, leadership development, and positive agency culture to support FWP’s mission and vision. Work with upper-level management and Director’s Office to resolve ongoing employee relations issues, negotiate union contracts, resolve grievances and participate in litigation hearings on behalf of the department. Supervise seven HR employees. Maintain a positive and productive work environment through support, guidance, direction and correction of staff performance. Meet with employees regularly and ensure each staff member is aware of and fulfills employment expectations and has ample opportunity for growth and development.
