NikeIndirect Procurement, Digital Marketing & Media
Sep. 2017 - Sep. 2020Netherlands · On-siteLooking back, working for Nike was a love-hate relationship. During 8 years I met a lot of super talented people, who are the support network I rely on till today. I have established the procurement function in Russia, my manager, Head of Procurement at a time, trusted my vision and promoted me to the Eastern Europe procurement lead. I thrived on the level of trust, autonomy and authority she granted me, and after 2,5 years I've been promoted to regional procurement lead of professional services category and moved to the Netherlands, Nike European Headquarters. My career at Nike evolved and I was leading two other categories in indirect procurement - Meetings and Events and later Digital Marketing and Integrated Media. Building supplier partnerships, co-creating strategies of the future, inventing and learning, working crazy hours and having unlimited holidays - this is how I remember the best Nike days. For the last year and a half at Nike, I was the co-chair of the Employee Network "Meet cancer" focusing on adapting the workplace for the needs of employees, re-integrating back to work after the long term sick leave. We have created private changing rooms for women, who were touched by cancer, ran cancer awareness campaigns, organized charity runs of more than 800 people, and worked with HR on raising emotional intelligence of people managers to establish compassionate re-integration for the employees after the sick leave.
