• Assisted in growing the company from 56 locations to over 207 locations in just under 3 years, growing the headcount of the HR team from 4 employees to 20 and an employee headcount from 9,000 to 35,000
• Create and successfully implemented all HR policies for skilled nursing homes to alleviate the stress of the HR Locals at the facility level from an onboarding process
• Responsible for all Union negotiations including resolving grievances, mediations, and negotiating 42 Union shop contracts in 2 states.
• Successfully implemented the Workday Software HRIS system for HCM, Absence, Compensation, & Recruiting for over 35,000 staff in 9 states • Wrote and maintained all Employee Handbooks, policies, procedures, for all 9 states to stay up to date on all changing processes for state specific policies including FMLA, CFRA, COFMLA
Accomplishments:
• Oversaw the acquisition of 150 locations implementing a best of class approach to onboarding of acquisitions with fast turnaround of new employees • Worked with broker to implement a best-in-class benefits program for all 9 states • Created and implemented quarterly reviews to give management a better opportunity to speak to their staff and ensure open communication more frequently than through annual reviews. • Maintained an HR Budget for travel, facility visits, trainings, and acquisitions for team of 20
