Chief Executive Officer
Food for the Brain FoundationChief Executive Officer
Apr. 2021 - May. 2022Took over at a point where two CEOs had left in quick succession and the organisation's fortunes needed turning around as well as much of the educational material requiring updating. Stepped down following Covid complications to focus on restoring my health. Key Results: Starting with recruiting a brilliant new team, I also brought fresh blood to the Board during my year in situ. Following a reassessment of the best strategy to pursue for maximum impact/results, I led a brand refresh as well as building out some key new partnerships in order to extend reach and impact. The volunteer programme was expanded to accelerate updating all the materials available for use by medical professionals as well as the general public. One of the key tools, the Cognitive Function test was upgraded by adding a Dementia Risk index. These were both validated by working with academics at UCL.
