I began my career in the communication industry in 1992. Words have always mattered to me and I followed a career where words are put to work. Advertising agencies were my work home. Starting off in a small B-2-B agency, Pelham Advertising I worked my way up the ranks with my final destination at Ogilvy South Africa where I stayed for 27 years. Although my career path led me into communication strategy I kept writing at the forefront; I blogged, wrote articles for clients and copy for advertising campaigns. In 2022 I began writing for a blogging Agency Passion Posts as a sideline and wrote hundreds of posts across many industries. Then in 2023 my desire to embrace the wide world of words was stronger than ever. I made the brave move to follow my passion and go it alone as a content writer; a decision I have not regretted. My experience in advertising coupled with writing skills have stood me in good stead. I write with purpose and immerse myself in the dynamics of each category and target market to create content that is relevant, adds value and aligns with objectives. In summary I am an experienced writer with strong communication skills, adept at creating content that resonates with readers and I love what I do.
