Ewan Black is an innovative actor and filmmaker with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. As a self-employed creative force, he has written, directed, and starred in multiple independent films and in the theatre on Londons west end multiple times opposite, hugely successful actors such as Ralph Fiennes, Mark Rylance and Indira Varma. He is passionate about exploring diverse narratives and is committed to pushing the boundaries of theatre and screen. When Ewan isn’t acting, he is behind the camera. He is a BFI accredited director of photography and has worked in camera teams for huge companies such as Netflix, Sky, Amazon and Apple. He is more than capable under intense pressure and multitasking is something that comes naturally to him. There isn't much more pressure than performing Shakespeare in front of 2000 people live or running a film set smoothly within budget restrictions and hard deadlines. Ewan is on this platform as the creative industry doesn’t always provide a constant and reliable source of income. He wants to buy a house one day and provide for a future family and believes extra work is a currently necessary to achieve this.
