Composes correspondence, reports and commendations upon the direction of the Superintendent or independently as needed;
Arranges appointments for the Superintendent and assists in maintaining the Superintendent's schedule;
Oversees, reviews, sorts and routes all correspondence to the Superintendent;
Prepares School Committee agendas for regular and special meetings, as well as appropriate distribution of agendas;
Posts all regular, special and school committee meeting and subcommittee in town halls, district offices and district website; Serves as Recording Secretary for the Dudley-Charlton Regional School Committee;
Ensures appropriate dissemination of minutes, including safekeeping of official copy of minutes for historical purposes;
Supervises publications as directed by the Superintendent; Prepares and disseminates annual letters to staff and parents, as required by law; assure appropriate and timely distribution;
Assists in maintaining official School Committee policies and monitoring new laws and legal requirement affecting the DCRSD, School Committee, staff and students for incorporation into Policy Manual; Maintains accurate personnel data, such as seniority lists and other pertinent collective bargaining information.
