Our objectives were to retrieve, analyse and visualise data as the single source of truth, producing analytics in support of the business strategy, decision making and performance improvement for global marketing and the C-suite. Fundamental to the project was the drive to democratise data partially locked in legacy systems, from ERP, CRM while blending data from external sources.
Key leadership responsibilities included:
• Scope definition for Integration (ETL), data governance, reconciliation, analytics and dashboard/visualisations • Integration of traditional data warehouse to a scalable and flexible online solution in Snowflake
• Integration of externally sourced Customer data from IQVIA and other data providers
• Provide a fully reconciled and governed single data model from multiple source models with 380 million records and billions of data points
• Excel development in support of Proof-of-concept activities (Master level Excel)
• Leadership of data visualisation and dashboard design creating previously unknown insights across the Sales Funnel, Revenue, Customer Segmentation and Market Size & Share
• Leadership and coaching of the PowerBI team
• Ownership of Process and Data improvement initiatives, specifically related to Salesforce.com and Oracle ERP
