Sep. 2008 - Aug. 2016Cape Town Area, South Africa* Alliance Manager and interim CEO (seconded): to a joint venture between 4 strategic partners. Identified, proposed and led the initiative from concept to prototype, partner selection, seeking investors, negotiations, contracting, solution development, business set-up (NewCo) and Pilot. * Project Manager and Lead: Strategic Alliance Capability Design and Implementation; incl. an alliances and 3rd party review. * Project Lead: Design and developed a Strategic and Shared Services methodology, best practice and “strategic roadmap” to assist executive decision making. Implementation of governance structures, reporting framework, balanced scorecards and guidelines for executive performance management. * Project Lead: Business Unit Target Operating Model (TOM) review ; “As Is - To Be” capability and process assessment. * Change Management Lead and Coach: - Established a Change Management capability and the overall (consolidated) change planning and management across all strategic projects for Old Mutual Retail Mass Market. - Developed a portfolio level “Change Dashboard” to monitor and support overall transformation and change planning and change risk management. - Design, development and implementation of business and project change methodology. - Provided executives and line managers with change support (including coaching and mentoring). - Supported business and multiple concurrent strategic programs, and projects with change planning and implementation; incl. New Business Business Retention, Point of Sale technology, client communications - Led planning and facilitated employee engagement sessions and strategic input (3000 employees). - Developed a Transformation Risk strategy.
