GCR owns and operates a B2B ecommerce marketplace in various countries. GCR is a client of Genuus and I was deputed as a virtual CMO (a service offered by Genuus). My Role entailed: I was responsible for implementing marketing strategies for GCR globally. GCR has a presence in 6 countries. Drove traction on the demand-side and supply-side of the B2B (ecommerce) marketplace through paid campaigns on social media, search engine marketing, email marketing, events, partner programs, and webinars. Onboarded 3000 channel partners (demand-side) and 900 technology partners (supply-side). Executed region-wise marketing strategies to onboard technology providers and Channel Partners. Introduced and implement new Partner Programs. Built alliances and partnerships with Government bodies and Trade Associations by participating in exhibitions, panel discussions, webinars, and forums. This provided us access to over 5000 partner prospects (Demand and Supply side). Implemented marketing technologies namely Vtiger CRM, SEMRush to improve performance with specific KPIs. Lead globally diversified cross-functional growth-minded teams to achieve organizational objectives. Mentored and managed a team of 35 specialists in Product management, Digital marketing, Channel enablement, Inside Sales and Domain consultants. Drove revenue through New Business Streams such as ‘Marketing Services’. Built awareness for Taiwanese brands (new entrants) in new geographies through Digital Marketing and Channel engagement activities. Increased revenue by 22%. Under my marketing leadership, AGS was rated among the ‘top 3 brands’ in the payments industry by research agencies because of the culmination of extensive brand awareness activities, Digital marketing, PR, Content Marketing, and ABM (Account Based Marketing) initiatives. Introduced the AGS Newsletter and brand publications. Edited these in-house publications with a team. The newsletter was awarded by ABCI (Association of business communicators, India) from 2009-2012.

I was responsible for generating revenues from the deployment of paint tinting operations (Colorscapes) at retail stores. I was responsible for building the equity for the home paint services ‘Home Stylers’ - an end to end on-demand service where you can get your home painted by specialists. I was a member of the team that introduced the new Corporate Identity of Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. - an important event in the rich history of the company.
