Recruited, trained, and developed team of 24 professionals to oversee both production and corporate systems and built
a Field Engineering team whose mandate was to work with customer technical teams to ensure the peak performance
and uptime of deployed Company products. Managed $10M annual technology budget, participated in annual business
planning, and managed all vendor relationships.
HIGHLIGHTS:
► Used in-depth knowledge of VMware and Citrix virtualization products to provide solutions for production and
corporate requirements, led the Company migration from physical to virtual infrastructure and redesigned,
consolidated, and reduced data center footprints, which improved performance and economic efficiencies.
► Led multiple technology team mergers resulting from company acquisitions.
► Directed a large-scale security deployment, which included Akamai, DarkTrace and Cylance.
► Realized millions of dollars in savings through astute negotiations and strong vendor relationships and re-negotiated
and consolidated vendor contracts acquired through multiple corporate acquisitions.
► Designed and implemented infrastructure comprising 200 physical servers and well over 1800 virtual servers, which
delivered the corporate SLA of 99.9995% uptime.
► Conceptualized and constructed a production and corporate Tier 2 SSAE 16 Datacenter, which began as physical
resources and was migrated to VMware infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions.
► Added a second (HOT) Data Center in Sterling, VA and formulated a hybrid cloud strategy to improve uptime and
performance.
► Collaborated with strategic vendors to build alliances that ensured scalability, performance, security, and good
budget value.
► Worked with third party cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, NetSuite and Powerspeak to integrate their services
into the enterprise.
