I formulated a functional business plan oriented towards staff appraisals, as well as personnel requirements. I coordinated the monthly staff welfare committee meetings to deliberate employee grievances and ensure the maintenance of a positive company culture. I conducted a benefits and entitlements survey to create a comprehensive guide of offerings. I investigated the required legal documentation for all nationalities. I managed immigration documentation, including employment visas, hotel licenses, repatriation, and work permits. I reviewed and approved staff applications for vacations, as well as ticketing. ~ I successfully recruited the leadership team in time for opening while only utilising 9% of allocated budget. ~ I implemented a ‘service coach’ initiative aiming to align associates with the hotel culture via input from appointed departmental trainers. ~ I established all HR regulatory requirements from scratch. ~ I obtained an HR audit score of 90% in 2012 and 93% in 2013. ~ I achieved overwhelmingly positive employee engagement scores (out of 5), specifically 4.25 in 2012, 4.68 in 2013, and 4.61 in 2014. ~ I secured the highest amount of training man-hours per associate within the Hyatt group in 2013, with a value of 9.5 hours. ~ I served as the feedback coach and administrator during the 360 degree reviews conducted for all departmental heads, as well as the leadership teams within the Hyatt group.
