As Global WINTEL Tech Lead ,I am involved on all levels for WINTEL platform support for the account.My activities mainly include project work and designing of automation solutions, plus working on BAU activties which require advanced skillset. I was inolved in a project for building new monitoring sotution for HP physical boxes based on Wintel platform and later on integrating it with IBM System Director on AIX box. Other project included design & buillding of new Citrix XenApp 6 farm for enterprise monetary solution, another project work was related to design & buidling of Citrix XenApp 6 farm for financial and business analytics solutions. Very important and business critical world wide related project is running currenly where I happen to work now as WINTEL lead. The project comprises of several data center migrations ,which includes VMWare platform, CItrix,Active Directory, Exchange,DFS and others.I was tasked with creating of low level design document for Citrix farm migration and mitigating all risks.Important business critical work which was completed last year, included data center migration where financial and business analytics applications delivered via Citrix had to migrated with minimal downtime,ensuring smooth integration of all depedencies on application and Citrix levels. Critical piece of work currently in progress which is led by me is POODLE identification and remediation throughout the entire enterprise ( 650+ boxes). I was designer and implementer of the custom automation solution(based on PowerShell and NMAP) which helped with the identification of the POODLE vulnerable boxes,Additionally my tasks include optimization of the environment, proposing new solutions,identifying business components which are suitable for migration to Cloud(SoftLayer),designing automation units(PowerShell,PowerCLI,inline C# where applicable).
