• Reported to the Regional Managing Director and managed 250 staff, appointed to lead the successful delivery of the profit and loss for the firm’s Transportation Sector for the Middle East region comprising highways, metros, rail, ports, airports, underground and above ground structures, transport planning and modelling.
• Appointed to the role following a 30% downturn of the ME transportation business following reduced revenues and was tasked to transform the business to profit. Repositioned the transportation sector including strategic and tactical planning, market analysis and resource planning. Grew the business by 100% (personnel) and 200% (revenue), cut non-core overhead costs by 30% and achieved a net turnaround in profitability of USD6 Million within 12 months • Strategic planning, design, engineering and management of transportation infrastructure projects including market positioning, bidding, program management, contract management with oversight to achieve business growth and profitability.
