Primary responsibility is to enable the business to solve strategic staffing requirements and to welcome and onboard new joiners. Management and Recruitment: essentially in charge of the management of full-cycle recruitment activities: sourcing, interviewing, screening, and closing. This includes evaluating candidates for core values and culture fit just as much as for skill level, experience, and knowledge. Interviews: Responsible for conducting interviews with potential candidates in an attempt to evaluate their work ethic, abilities, and skills. Screening each applicant/candidate through verification of references, conducting background checks, and administering job related assessments and tests. Strategy/Tactics: Involved and responsible for establishment of recruitment tactics and strategies within the People & Culture team. Pushing the boundaries on sourcing and hiring tactics through the innovation of new and creative ways of attracting talent to the business. Adapting quickly to, changes within the needs of the business hiring priorities, formulating new strategies and tactics for filling new roles, and brainstorming with senior team and hiring managers to create sourcing strategies for each position. Collaboration: Collaborating with the marketing team in building and growing brand awareness as well as supporting recruitment efforts; additionally, partners with the Contracts Team in facilitating contracts for new team members. Onboarding: Preparing and facilitating the onboarding process including creating schedule for first week, introduction to team members, company overview, ordering and coordination of technology support. Other: Support senior leadership with HR generalist activities where required.
