Mar. 2012 - Mar. 2013San Antonio, TX · On-site•Directed daily operations for two major operations planning divisions comprised of 10 direct report employees in four separate operational specialties. •Coordinated the total Army DoD CBRN (Department of Defense Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear) Response Enterprise (CRE) program, ensuring the 20,000 service member was viable and deployable in time of US CBRN crisis, and a Defense Support of Civil Authorities response was ordered by the President. Created mobilization and training plans and policies, socializing and coordinating with all military services and military deployment sites across the US. •Conducted and coordinated contingency planning and operational response efforts in support of US military operations during Hurricane Sandy. Personally ensured over 1000 high-volume military pumps were identified, transported, and provided in support of the State of New York's requests for support in the face of overwhelming storm surge and subsequent flooding in New York City.

Program manager and leader of Region 6, a five-state region of the nation's premier federal radiation response organization, providing expertise and outreach in radiation assessment and mitigation to governments and private industry. • Developed training programs and planned for all Agency participation in Pentagon and national-level exercises. • Led the development program of a new $250 thousand command center common operating picture software and hardware IT solution that enhanced real-time situational awareness supporting law enforcement and crisis response contingencies. • Efficiently led the reduction in force of the Agency, sunsetting and passing the protection of the Secretary of Defense mission and personnel FTEs to the Army Criminal Investigation Division. • Found multiple efficiencies and redundancies in the directorate budget, allowing for the purchasing of two new remote explosive disposal robots for the EOD branch at $100 thousand each. • Ensured, through intra-agency collaboration, intra-agency coordination, and communications, the construction finalization of a new CBRNE operations building, including the accreditation of the Pentagon identification laboratory and the security accreditation of the building and secure (SCIF) spaces and communications circuits.

Jan. 1991 - Dec. 1993As an Army National Guard ROTC Cadet, led a small, highly skilled team of interrogators and counterintelligence agents, standing ready to support national missions across the globe. • With no previous experience, conceived, created, and led a large-scale human intelligence and counter-intelligence exercise for more than 100 personnel. This effort began with writing an exercise scenario and all training vignettes that drove the scenario forward, providing the training situations and desired outcomes of the training event. Organized over 50 role-players and their supporting scripted backstories, actions, and reactions. This training event was an overwhelming success and led to the receipt of my first Army Achievement Medal.
