My responsibilities include guiding a dedicated team of eight, managing a budget of $1.3 million, and steering programs focused on education, health, and income stability, with particular emphasis on early childhood, at-risk youth, and gender equality. My role is centered on establishing strategic direction, fostering stakeholder engagement, optimizing resource allocation, and driving operational efficiency. I have successfully increased our grant revenue from $500K to $1.3 million within five years and implemented cost-saving measures resulting in $30k annual savings, enhancing our operational effectiveness and expanding our reach. In collaboration with local and international partners, I have launched and led initiatives such as the “Born Learning” program, USAID's "Centro de Alcance por mi Barrio, "Crecer en Comunidad", "Centroamérica Crece" and "Cuidarte" contributing significantly to our mission's impact, among many others. . These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to address systemic challenges through integrated, community-based solutions. My approach to leadership is grounded in collaboration, strategic insight, and a commitment to excellence. By building strong coalitions and applying best practices in program development and advocacy, I aim to further our mission of driving social equity and supporting Panama’s nonprofit sector.
