• Created and managed controlled purchasing procedures with all suppliers and streamlined supply inventory control.
• Managed Operations Staff scheduling • Developed scheduling and implementation of new Time Clock system and event inventory management systems for each of the three event floors.
• Created structured repair and maintenance program and upgrading security system
• Supervise event load in, execution and load out of all events
• Issue beverage service for events and track beverage inventory and costing per event
• Project Manager for The Level. Company had procured the 5th floor of the current venue location. This project scope of work was to renovate 9,000 sq. ft. from old office space to a premium event space. Responsibilities included liaising with architect on establishing design elements for the space, working closely with the general contractor, expeditors and all sub-contractors in implementing the sequence of operations. • Created and developed this role into a sub-division of the operations department in response to the company’s rapid and continuous expansion
• Produce numerous in-house events (fashion shows; product launches; galas; benefit dinners; performances, trade shows; weddings etc.), managing budgets, logistics, event staff and vendor relations (e.g. American Folk Art Museum, European Preview, Chocolate Show, Nordstroms, Clinique, Tibet House, W Magazine, Macy’s, Kate Spade, Escada, Arts & Collectibles Trade Show)
• Designed and created floor plans for the majority of events held on site. Provide guidance and direction for clients on room design, staffing and vendor referrals
• Co-authored the operations manual, staff guidelines, and employee handbook in addition to creating and implementing 70% of all forms used in the company’s Standard Operating Procedure system
