We successfully added 9 new schools in the first year of this program. That growth helped to establish us as one of the premier providers in our industry. • Launch of The Tales of Midlandia book series. Established Midlandia Press, our Publishing Division. This consisted primarily of print materials that touted the benefits of Muzak services for business all over Western Pennsylvania. Maintained contact with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Started as an Outside Sales rep, Primary Challenges 1. To build a marketing plan that integrated ICI’s goals with those of Muzak. 2. Develop a Trade Show strategy that showcased all ICI products and services. 3. Find new sales opportunities and markets. Actions and Results • Worked with Muzak to develop new programs that would attract new customers. This was done by offering incentives, such as discounts on first 6 months of service, free equipment, and a gift card program that allowed clients customers to download music. Resulted in a 22 % increase in new subscriptions, and a 17% increase in equipment sales. • Designed new Trade Show booths and other Trade Show materials. I incorporated audio and visual tools that allowed potential clients to hear and see what Muzak could offer to enhance their customers experience in their establishments. This contributed to a 25% increase in orders written at trade Shows. We also won an award for best booth design at the East Coast Hospitality Expo 2009. • Looked for different industries that could potentially use ICI’s various product lines, along with the General Manager we started to “Bundle” various services for clients that required privacy or need to have confidential conversations. Worked with Physicians and others in the Medical, as well as the Financial industries to introduce “White Noise” sound damping. This added a large number of new clients. I left the company before I could see it fully instituted.
