Aligned the team’s vision and strategic direction across Telehealth, Utilization Management, AI/M: Apps on patient data as well as the data interoperability pipeline turning EMR/EHR data into FHIR R4. Working across a world-class team of 160 product leaders, front/back-end engineers, data scientists, quality engineering and designers as well as established business and technology teams to drive digital transformation in health care. Led technical product managers to deploy cloud native Health Operating System to enable enterprise class applications with a zero trust security paradigm using SPIFFE/SPIRE & OPA and technology stack architected for efficient computing and scaling; unlocked 80% reduction in implementation and deployment times including a diabetes pre-screen model, annually saving $150M initially and recurring savings of $95M as well as Generative AI tools and apps. Guided the AI & Platform teams to create a secure learning healthcare platform to rapidly deploy clinically validated machine learning models across Carelon Digital Platforms, Commercial and Government lines of business to achieve a 90% reduction in time + resources. Invented & delivered digitally transformative prior authorization decision automation solution using medical records in FHIR R4, eliminating the need for large teams to slowly parse cumbersome hand-written faxed patient charts. Kickoff to production in 5 months. Turned-around engineering team for FHIR R4 clinical data pipeline, transforming multi-sourced data into FHIR R4 lifetime patient records for 70M Elevance members/patients, cross-walking CMTs and UCUM. Established ethnographic research methodologies on AI/ML needs of healthcare teams and telehealth and strategic product management focus to drive better understanding of target users, customer segments, revenue opportunities and GTM strategies.
