Aug. 2007 - Aug. 2010Abu Dhabi(i) Building Management System - Design & Estimation 1. Preparing the Final Equipment Schedule from the MEP Drawings.
2. Preparing the Data Point Schedule and BOQ for BMS.
3. Sending inquiries and getting Quotations from the Consultant specified BMS Suppliers like Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Invensys.
4. Estimating the BMS value of the project. 5. Preparing Techno Commercial Comparison Statement based on the quotation and verifying the Supplier Data Point schedule with ours.
6. Conducting meeting with Consultants & BMS suppliers if any clarification required.
7. Coordinating with site people to resolve the problem such as material requirement while project running as well as maintenance period.
8. Selecting the appropriate Supplier once discussed with Director – Abu Dhabi Operations.
9. Preparing & Releasing the Letter of Intent (LOI) to the finalized supplier. (ii) Procurement Lead - MEP 1. Managing and controlling of all procurement related activities. 2. Preparation of procurement schedule.
3. Selection and finalization of Suppliers and Sub Contractors.
4. Preparation & review of comparative statements. Negotiate and finalize contract in line with the project plan, specifications and budgetary constraints.
5. Research market periodically to determine material/services prices and availability of other suitable supplier /subcontractors.
6. Prepare and review periodic reports, viz. procurement status, material submittal status to monitor timely and effective procurement process.
7. Timely action with regard to submittals/re-submittals in conjunction with the Project team.
