The SDI Program for the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation with annual revenue exceeding $1b faced key challenges including rapid scope expansion from 12 to 36 projects in the first nine months and frequent shifts in program priorities largely in response to legislatively driven ICT priorities with tight timeframes. The Transformation Program is a major ERP replacement program, streamlining business processes to refresh critical end of life systems.
The SDI2 Program delivered 34 initiatives in the same time as the originally scoped 12, $470k under budget.

Integration with statewide Radio network, Telephony, Records Management and external emergency services will enhance situational awareness of responding officers through provision of GIS data, Person/Vehicle/Address of interest, weapons licensing & previous occurrence data to Police in response to 000 Emergency calls.

Jul. 2005 - Sep. 2005During my role at this leading construction materials producer I was primarily responsible for schedule, stakeholder & issue management for the Queensland division of the $1.7m QEST national software development & rollout program. The project’s primary objective was to implement software to standardise & automate concrete mix designs from a central technical laboratory. The system interfaces with plant batching hardware to physically control raw material inputs in 45 concrete plants across regional & metropolitan Qld. I also proposed, scoped, resourced & scheduled additional project phases to realise & help measure the benefits of the project. I also managed a portfolio of concurrent projects including training, rollout & administration of Microsoft Sharepoint, installation of an 802.11g wireless network and a video conferencing system, implementation of a project management framework and accompanying Business Process Modelling Notation.

Jan. 2005 - Apr. 2005At the first and leading Internet based accommodation provider I worked on a project to migrate a database from SQL Server to Oracle and code base from asp to jsp. I wrote & executed sets of test scripts covering a wide range of functionality adhering to strict scheduling constraints. The coverage & meticulous execution of the tests revealed several hundred bugs with 97% of all system issues addressed in testing against an industry average of 70% ensuring the quality of customer experience. My work helped ensure 18 months of development fulfilled business requirements and went live defect free, ahead of schedule and on budget.

Oct. 2004 - Dec. 2004Sydney, AustraliaBetween 2003 and 2005 I performed a number of roles around the launch and maturation of operations for the 3 network, both directly for 3, and with their partners 3 Global Services in Mumbai and Ericsson who provided tier 3 support.
On this project with Ericsson’s Hutchison Managed Services group in Sydney, my involvement with Hutchison's 3G architecture came full circle. Monitoring the newly developed systems & databases from launch I analysed fault sources, trends & impacts to document interim support procedures for time critical failures. Working in a team of six experts, we resolved over 12 000 business critical faults during the first month of operation, each representing a potential customer loss. My technical documentation & communication of risks & recommendations formed the basis for the next development phase to reduce or eliminate occurrences or streamline recovery procedures through automation.
