Jan. 2018 - Mar. 2020Remote As the first Business Development hire at Human Made my focus lies on structuring intelligence, market research, iterating outbound activities, and experimenting in order to shape our client acquisition pipeline. I am also in charge of creating and implementing process for this team, as well as, validating Business Development inside of Human Made. As the Business Development manager I work globally supporting our regional Directors of Client Services, covering Americas, EMEA and APAC, including helping kick start our Japanese market. The Business Development team has within its first year of business discovery landed a new client, and alongside Design & Product has successfully conducted several market and audience research studies, documenting Human Made’s Ideal Client Profile. My responsibilities include: - Pioneering the initial steps and process in Business Development.
- Creating new revenue opportunities by educating our prospects about open source, digital experiences and the advantages Altis offers.
- Researching territories to determine market size and creating smart lead lists. - Converting prospects into qualified leads. - Validating assumptions, and learning from controlled tests
- Supporting the front-lines in effectively managing targeted regional campaigns.
- Qualifying prospects' needs and effectively mapping them to Human Made’s offerings.
- Working closely with Sales and Marketing to implement strategy and process.
- Looking for new channels that can help drive sales and brand awareness.
- Client events; working with Marketing & Design to help organise events for clients and prospects. - Collaborating with Marketing to implement and execute a successful content distribution plan.
- Managing the Business Development part of the CRM.
