My work focuses on practical, faculty-centered development ultimately influencing effective student-centered learning experiences while facilitating the strategic use of instructional technology. In this pursuit, our faculty professional development focused on the following: Universal Design for Learning, assessment practices, accessibility, learner-centered design, and developing appropriate strategies for AI management in the instructional process. Outside of faculty professional development, my team and I work to improve the student learning experience through effective and proactive management of instructional technologies. These technologies include but are not limited to Canvas, Simple Syllabus, and Ally Accessibility; along with HTML-based remediations to improve accessibility.
