Athletics NIEvents Marketing & Communications Manager
Nov. 2021 - Jan. 2024• Plan, prepare and organise all aspects of events promoted by Athletics NI, including, but not limited to, permit applications, venue booking, marshall & official recruitment, vendor booking, timetabling, staffing, equipment hire, online entry setup, pack collections etc
• Ensuring all event information is updated accurately and uploaded to the website in adequate time
• Create & implement the Marketing & Communications Strategy (internal and external) through all channels
• Create and implement the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy, including action plan and relevant guidance documents for member clubs
• Ensuring all staff, Athletics NI athletes and individuals representing the organisation are aware of and adhere to the Social Media Policy. • Ensuring effective monitoring of social media and websites.
• Plan and maintain the budgets for Athletics NI Events and the Marketing budget.
• Management of the Admin & Events Assistants and Digital Marketing Assistants.
