I am an Austrian hospitality executive and workforce strategist with more than 30 years of international experience across luxury hotels, cruise operations, culinary leadership, and talent development. My career started through the traditional Austrian apprenticeship system, where I graduated as one of Upper Austria’s top culinary apprentices in 1993. From there, I built my career across Austria, the United Kingdom, and the international cruise industry, progressing through operational leadership roles including Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Director, Assistant Hotel General Manager, and Hotel General Manager. Over the years, I have worked in high-performance hospitality environments ranging from luxury city hotels to global cruise operations, leading multicultural teams, complex operations, and large-scale guest experiences. In recent years, I transitioned into hospitality recruitment, workforce mobility, and talent assessment, specializing in identifying not only technical competence, but also cultural fit and long-term operational success. During my work supporting cruise recruitment operations, I helped implement structured screening and interview systems that significantly reduced early attrition and improved onboarding quality. Today, my focus is on building long-term workforce mobility solutions between the Philippines and Europe, particularly Austria, helping hospitality businesses solve structural labor shortages while creating sustainable international career opportunities for Filipino hospitality professionals.
