Jan. 2019 - Jun. 2022South AfricaMy duties and responsibilities: Strategically drive profitable revenue and and gain market share for Radisson Hotel Group South African portfolio. - My main objective is to successfully drive and grow MICE segment for RHG hotel portfolio, consisting of 11 Hotels in South Africa. My client portfolio consists of Professional Conference Organizers, Destination Management Companies, Incetive Houses, Event Companies/Organisers, Travel Management Companies, Production Houses/Entertainment. - Account spilt is 40% focusing on maintenance accounts, 40% prospecting and 20% acquisition accounts. - Assist hotels to drive and increase conversion rate of winning group business. - Plans for and implements methods of maintaining and increasing volume of business thorough sales promotion, potential markets needing coverage, advertising and special sales projects. - Planning and executing familirization trips and client entertainment events - Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfying client needs - Maintains accurate sales statistics and account records and reports - Conduct product training, workshops and activations with Travel Agencies and Event companies to give product knowledge, product updates and to create awareness. - Present realistic proposals to clients through thorough market research & cost factors of the agreement. - Responsible for the planning, organizing, executing and attending of Meetings Africa 2020 on behalf of Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) - Strategic planning by drawing up of general sales strategies. - Create account development plans for maintainence accounts. - Reviews market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, etc - Meets overall budgeted sales and profit margins by soliciting, evaluating, selling, and confirming business
