(1) Led the technology part of the SMART City transformation programs including online services, social welfare automation, domain awareness, communications, transportation, health, financial, etc.
(2) Responsible for the overall strategy, operations, maintenance, development and security of all IT related infrastructure, applications, programs and projects of the city.
(3) Also, responsible for Makati's unique DEBIT card operations (using the Mastercard platform) to power its MAKATIZENCARD program, its technology strategy, merchant administration, etc. The same card program was also used to automate the four (4) major social welfare programs of the city government (sr citizen, PWD, solo parent & health) as well as its primary financial platform for monetary benefits availment.
(4) Significant contributions: 4.1. Supported Makati City's certification and induction into "Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) program", a global initiative led by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction where only 1% of cities worldwide have achieved certification. 4.2. Supported Makati City's bid in the World Smart Cities Award 2023 where it became finalist in the City Award category, as the only city representing the Philippines and the entire Asia-Pacific region with its program entry, the “Makati City’s IoT Revolution: Empowering the City to Become Better Stewards of Energy and Environment”. 4.3. Spearheaded the city's Data Privacy compliance to become the 1st Philippine LGU to be certified. 4.4. Designed the city's first information security architecture, adoption of the architecture in a multi-year annual investment program, implemented the new security systems and oversee the new security operations.
