RoadtripsMarketing Database Manager & Event Specialist
Jun. 2019 - Dec. 2024Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and Remote from BrazilFull-time since 2019, I initially joined Roadtrips through a co-op placement as part of my International Business post-grad program in Canada, before continuing remotely from Brazil. During COVID, my role became part-time, and in 2022 I returned full-time as a contractor — continuing in marketing and expanding into global event operations. In this hybrid role, I worked at the intersection of marketing data strategy & event operations, ensuring both back-end systems and guest-facing experiences reflected the level of excellence expected from a luxury sports travel brand. On the marketing / CRM side, I managed our global database across multiple travel consortiums (Travel Leaders, Signature, Serandipians, Altour, GTC, etc.), ensuring that all contacts were correctly classified by persona, agency and account type. I also maintained our post-travel database, making sure clients referred by travel advisors were accurately assigned for targeted marketing and partner recognition. On the event side, I served as a core member of the on-site team for: - World Cup 2022 – Qatar - Women’s World Cup 2023 – New Zealand - Olympic Games 2024 – Paris In each of these events, I led key aspects of guest experience, hotel operations, and logistics: • Managed on-site host teams, assigning daily responsibilities and overseeing time management, transportation, and F&B budgets • Served as hotel lead at flagship properties including Shangri-La Paris and Le Bristol, coordinating all logistics and team deployment • Directed the production of printed client itineraries: beautifully designed travel souvenirs that served as daily guides and keepsakes • Oversaw the writing, design, and execution of our Paris Travel Guide for Olympic clients, collaborating with creative agencies and internal teams from concept to delivery This role gave me a unique opportunity to combine systems thinking with high-touch guest operations, always keeping both the client journey and the data journey aligned.
