This includes growth areas, trend watching, client interaction to establish needs, and understanding their business to create holistic solutions for them. Research and development to create the ‘request for proposals for the company to begin projects. Report to the CEO as well as the Executive of Business Development and manage a team of specialists including New Business Manager, Transfer Agency Manager, Transfer Agency Specialist, and Manager of Marketing & Communications. Key Responsibilities • Build a client database and investigate the addition of a Transfer Agency to product offering for Asset Managers. • Create a pipeline and marketing of Curo by using personal ‘brand’ in the market. • Proactive engagement with existing and prospective clients through deep analysis and research to understand their business and partner with clients to deliver holistic solutions to their requirements. • Identify quick wins within the infrastructure to align with the clients’ unique infrastructure requirements. • Coach and mentor the line reporting staff as well as leadership in the business. • Recruit and train for the annual Grad Programme run alongside the business. • Drive sales as per budget requirements. • Complete the paperwork for ‘RFPs’ and set up a database of all ‘RFPs’ ready for implementation. • Lead the research and development of the business case for the Transfer Agency (TA) business within Curo through system analysis of tools to support the function, lead the recruitment of industry expertise to build a viable TA team, and encourage strategic engagement with target clients.
