Aug. 2008 - May. 2018San Jose, CAManaged the client company’s GSOC (a team of up to 16 operators, analysts and supervisors), which was tasked with monitoring and evaluating worldwide concerns for the security and safety of PayPal’s employees and facilities. Identified, analyzed and coordinated response to threats and adversarial conditions such as unstable political conditions, crime, man-made and natural disasters, security access breaches, maintenance, direct threats against the company by its own users, and more. Formed and managed an Intelligence Program for the GSOC to coordinate the identification of sources, and the gathering and evaluation of information in accordance with the company’s changing priorities. Work included hiring, training and evaluating team members, identifying new corporate needs, defining team goals, creating processes/procedures, and overall management services. Served as part of a team that was tasked with enhancing Business Continuity Plan by training leadership throughout the company.
