I assisted in planning events for private occasions and weddings, I also assisted on the day of the weddings. I took on a majority of the administration for the annual Christmas parties. I also had the opportunity to plan a wine tasting event, which was very successful and I repeated a similar event later on in the year. I also worked in the restaurant in the evening to further increase my understanding of the food and beverage department. At the end of my internship I continued working for the hotel events team one day a week and worked full time for the beach side restaurant as a supervisor. This included Bar/Barista and table service waitressing roles.
