Jul. 2014 - Jan. 2021Costa RicaAs part of the INCAE Business School Technology team, I have had to adapt to important changes in my role, to ensure the optimal functioning of the Area.
I was hired with the purpose of helping with the implementation of the help desk philosophy, as well as to supervise the work of the Technology Area Agents and control the assignment of tickets.
Once I entered I detected some shortcomings in the handling of computer assets, so I took on the task of coordinating the acquisition of equipment, accessories and consumables and guarantee the availability in the two campuses of the Institute, both in Nicaragua and Costa Rica . I also had a leading role in organizing department storage spaces, which has allowed us to guarantee the best use of computer resources and the release of space, by responsible disposal or donation of damaged or obsolete equipment for the purposes of Institute.
I took on the task of collecting misplaced information about the distribution of the Network Infrastructure, which caused that before an event or incident, the attention was extended for longer than necessary since nobody knew the whole infrastructure thoroughly, I I gave myself the task of documenting or making public the responsible team, this information, which resulted in an improvement in the time of attention of failures and in the evaluation of the impact of each event
I contributed positive leadership in my admission to the Institute, due to a feeling of insecurity and apathy caused by a strong restructuring of personnel, which had been given shortly before my admission, through Team Building techniques and Of "Coaching"
I have had the opportunity to lead important Projects for the Department and the Institute.
Since March of this year (2017) I have been honored with the assignment of the Coordination of the areas of Security and Infrastructure Information Technology, Telecommunications and Telephony, which I currently work alongside the coordination of the First Level of IT Support.
