Oct. 2007 - Dec. 2011Bogota- Prepare presentations to the customer staff for the initial or follow up meetings - Gather customer information (current processes) and needs (functional workshops) - Document and design solutions according to the customer needs (create the statement of requirement document with mock ups, work flows, use cases, data dictionary) -Test customized solutions (create test cases and do the testing) -Certify quality of the customized application to be delivered to the client - Prepare user guides -Deliver customized application to the clients and support the go-live -Train the customer about the delivered customized application - Prepare proposals and deliver them to the sales team - Support the sales team (solution workshops and/or give solutions or work around to be presented to the customer) -Support customer´s testing process (UAT) - Update tools to follow projects status - Support developers (to create the solution requiered by the customer) - Close projects and send information to the financial department for billing - Review reports of failure in the customized applications and give a solution or drive it to the correct developer to fix it - Update documents and project plans - Develop project plans, determine time frame, funding needs, procedures for accomplishing project - Develop and submit overall project program status reports - Support program management of resources. -Clearly communication of technical concepts to non-technical users Facts, as a Functional Consultant: - Hands-on experience of how an agency and airline works: Sales process, Commercial negotiations and fulfillment. - 8 pre-sales IT projects (proposals and feasibility studies - 16 customer solution - 14 functional workshops at client premises - Worked directly with customers from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, Colombia, México, Brazil and Peru - Lead 5 project estimations (effort and time sizing) for projects above 100 Men Days of effort
