I've found that the problem stems from the fact that the people heading up the business strategies and goals, and the people who understand data and analytics, are not necessarily one and the same. The gap is the language barrier between the strategy stakeholders and the data analytics custodians. The solution lies in someone that has lived in both worlds and can translate. This is why I am in a new role in a new company, Apeiros Intelligence. Apeiros means boundless or limitless, and the name references the boundless potential locked up in data. The aim is to intelligently link this potential with business strategy, which will deliver the value businesses seek.
