I directly supported the marketing function and latterly field sales for a $multibillion global division spanning 100+ countries, with 300+ staff in marketing and 650 in sales. I nurtured individuals to achieve high-performance levels and build talent pipelines. My key achievements included:
• Led the customisation and implementation of a pan-regional CRM solution, with buy-in at all levels.
• Reorganised the direct sales force encompassing 650+ staff dispersed across 80 countries.
• Lead the Sales Operational Excellence programmes across four multi-country regions: Central Eastern Europe, India, Middle East & Africa, Russia & CIS. Focus on Sales Coverage, Compensation, Training & Development and Sales Management Process.
• Pioneered a large scale knowledge assessment of 280 marketers in developing markets.
• Subsequently negotiated and secured a $m budget for further organisational interventions.
