Meniere’s DiseaseMedical condition
Jan. 2013 - Dec. 2016In 2010, I had a medical condition called Meniere’s Disease, which is a problem in the inner ear. It is a rare condition. The symptom of this disease is vertigo. My symptom was really bad where I could not even stand up, I had to crawl, my vision felt like the world is spinning. And it happens often. And from this disease I have mild hearing loss and tinnitus (ringing in the ear) until today. This is not a problem anymore, as I have got used to it, I don’t even realize that I have the ringing in the ear until someone ask me about it or was talking about it. As what you have read earlier, I quit from the company MYOB (Accountants Resourcing Sdn Bhd) in October 2011. It was because the disease affected my job performance as I could not go to work because of vertigo.

Reviewing Financial statements done by Accounts Executive and making sure that everything is complete with supporting documentation. Handling Payrolls to the Doctors and other staffs. Handling Rental Income from Subsidiaries clinics. Handling Insurance claims from patients. Attending Board meetings to update the stakeholders of the current financial position Liaising with Inland Board Revenue (LHDN) on the penalty imposed on the company for non submission of previous years unaudited accounts and tax payments imposed on the company. Prepared Projected cashflow and Profit and Loss statements to submit them to the Inland Board Revenue. (Managed to get to settle the fines and taxable income in installments rather than paying in total lump-sump which would have put the company in a bad financial position. I did all of this alone, I did not have any experience of doing Projected financials previously, I did my own research and single handedly prepared everything needed by LHDN) Followed the Directors and stakeholders of the company to endless meetings to try to get expat companies to buy the healthcare package (I honestly was not even needed to be at these meetings) just for appearance, and to be the driver.
