Revised job description, reviewed resumes, interviewed and hired for the Japan/Guam area in order to recruit high caliber candidates and maintain the delivery of exceptional workshops deserving of the transitioning service members. Created exceptional relationships with designated government representatives leading to a dialogue that allows for transition managers to request additional classes, create & report on participant guide orders & delivery and assure all participant surveys are collected and reviewed. Alerted programs managers the need for overseas participant guides to be sent earlier than CONUS due to the wait postal mail to overseas, leading to 80% of assigned locations having the necessary participant guides for January workshops. Created printable sections of the participant guides for shortages of participant guides, allowing for tactile participants to actively participate and for a “take away” item from the workshop. Later implemented across the program for all facilitators during guide shortages. Facilitated workshops for service members in classrooms of up to 50 on vocational track, career exploration and planning, civilian and federal employment. Reviewed participant surveys to find areas of improvement in program delivery. Discussed reviews with facilitators to ensure understanding of deficits and ways to overcome and become more effective. Created work schedules to ensure coverage for workshops covering installations in Japan and Guam.
