Metro AreaAs an accent training expert, I have the unique role of helping non-native English professionals improve their confidence and effectiveness when PUBLIC SPEAKING in a second language. I was approached by a healthcare non-profit organization to do just that with one of their Research Scientists. They came to me because the scientist needed to improve her English communication skills and pronunciation to ADVANCE her career. After identifying her key opportunities for communication improvement, we had a series of intensive sessions to tackle the rhythm and melody of her spoken English so that she could be BETTER UNDERSTOOD and persuasive. Her progress? She became SO CONVINCING in her speech that she is THE GO-TO Research Scientist for in-person AND virtual presentations to government officials, expert committees and primary contractors.
