Feb. 2017Houston, Texas Area• Support strategic planning and creative development for diverse event initiatives, managing all aspects from branding and agenda design to content creation and venue selection. • Lead the planning and execution of assigned event programs of varying sizes and scales, ensuring alignment with business priorities and objectives. • Develop and manage relationships with external partners and vendors, driving successful collaborations for multiple events. • Strategically connect key messages to content delivery, partnering with cross-functional teams to create engaging event agendas. • Create and manage planning tools, including budget tracking, project timelines, production schedules, and meeting agendas to streamline event execution. • Oversee event communications and promotional strategies, driving meaningful attendance and engagement. • Monitor and track budget costs, communicating scope changes clearly to maintain financial accountability. • Reconcile budgets and lead internal and external project debriefs to identify areas for improvement. • Foster strong relationships with team members and departments to enhance collaboration and event success. • Negotiate contracts and manage critical projects to deliver comprehensive event plans. • Implement and manage internal processes across teams to ensure seamless coordination with global production partners. • Cultivate vendor and freelance relationships to secure the best available resources for events. • Develop and publish Brand Guidelines to ensure corporate brand adherence across all materials. • Manage the Company Store and Brand Gifts, designing and producing branded materials and collateral.
