Designing and delivering accessible, citizen-centered digital solutions for government projects with high social impact, covering healthcare, public safety, and digital services. Pharmacy Digital Led the UI design and interface development for the new website, implementing WCAG-compliant color contrast accessibility. Streamlined the process for requesting, renewing, and adjusting high-cost medications, aiming to reduce wait times and improve citizen experience. Protect Women (Protege Mulher) Designed end-to-end user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes; applied accessibility best practices and conducted usability testing. The platform maps and supports women in vulnerable situations, enabling the reporting of sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, domestic violence threats, and sexual assault. Features include a virtual assistant, camouflage mode, and access to support networks. LIS – Plain Language AI Created the landing page layout, user onboarding flow, and AI interaction interface. Delivered low- and high-fidelity prototypes to enhance clarity and accessibility in revising the State’s public Service Charters. Government of Pernambuco Design System: Reviewed and optimized components, microinteractions, and dark mode; performed usability testing and designed the system’s landing page to promote adoption across government agencies. Women’s Observatory of Pernambuco (Observatório Feminino de Pernambuco) – A digital platform designed to centralize and publish strategic data across multiple areas such as health, education, labor, political participation, and, especially, combating violence against women — one of the core pillars of the initiative. Led desk and qualitative research, developed personas, mapped user journeys, and created low- and high-fidelity wireframes. Also designed the platform’s visual identity.
Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - UFRPEUI/UX Designer
Feb. 2023 - Aug. 2023Recife, Pernambuco, BrazilI collaborated on a project for the Livox platform, an alternative communication application with artificial intelligence, created to provide a voice for people with disabilities. This project also incorporated an innovative gaming feature, the result of a partnership with the Special Education unit of the public school system in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, the Lego Foundation and UFRPE. During the process of developing the game module for Livox, I had the opportunity to actively participate in several co-creation sessions with the special education pedagogical team and the user interface design team, my responsibility included not only participating in these sessions, but also designing the game module in question. I conducted heuristic analyses and accessibility studies according to WCAG standards during the development process of both the low-fidelity and high-fidelity game interfaces, paying meticulous attention to every detail and feature of the game. Each stage was carried out with care and precision to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the final product. After creating the prototypes, we carried out a thorough validation process in which we actively involved the teaching team and the neurodivergent children. This stage was key to ensuring that the game module met the specific needs of this audience, providing a truly inclusive and enriching educational and play experience.

Feb. 2023 - Aug. 2023RecifeFui colaborador em um projeto da plataforma Livox, um aplicativo de comunicação alternativa com inteligência artificial, criado para proporcionar voz a pessoas com deficiência. Este projeto também incorporou um inovador recurso de jogos, resultado da parceria com a unidade de Educação Especial da rede pública de ensino da cidade de Jaboatão dos Guararapes, a Fundação Lego e a UFRPE. Durante o processo de desenvolvimento do módulo de jogos para o Livox, tive a oportunidade de participar ativamente de várias sessões de cocriação, com a equipe pedagógica de educação especial e a equipe de design de interface do usuário, minha responsabilidade incluía não apenas participar dessas sessões, mas também projetar o módulo de jogo em questão. Conduzi análises heurísticas e estudos de acessibilidade conforme os padrões WCAG durante o processo de desenvolvimento da interface dos jogos, tanto de baixa como de alta fidelidade, com uma atenção meticulosa a cada detalhe e funcionalidade do jogo. Cada etapa foi executada com cuidado e precisão para assegurar a qualidade e a eficácia do produto final. Depois de criar os protótipos, realizamos um processo de validação completo no qual envolvemos ativamente a equipe de professores e as crianças neurodivergentes. Essa etapa foi fundamental para garantir que o módulo do jogo atendesse às necessidades específicas desse público, proporcionando uma experiência educacional e lúdica verdadeiramente inclusiva e enriquecedora.

The MVP of this initiative (Women Dev Projects) in 2019, had significant results, we had over 200 women sign up to attend the two-month front-end development training, graduated a class of 30 women, 6 women got jobs in technology, two in career transition from healthcare, and the development of three websites for non-profit organizations to help publicize their activities and projects, facilitating fundraising.
