Mar. 2010 - Aug. 2010• Created efficient Check-out User flows and designed interfaces and interactions on the check-out pages. The new design accomplished all the criteria the different items on the website had to follow for check-out process, but still limiting the process to three steps.
• Designed interfaces and interactions of Home Depot Lighting Kiosk and worked on future designs and enhancements necessary for a better customer experience.
• Conducting User Experience studies like Focus Groups, User Interviews, Contextual Inquiry, Ethnographic studies, to understand the consumers’ needs in virtual world and real world. • Creating/Producing wireframes, site maps, schematics, process maps, navigation, feature lists, mockups, visual specification, and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience, from the findings of the user experience studies. • Defining site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built. • Working with customers to understand their business models and goals and help define content, and features for design of their web site; Analyzing audiences and their information and functional needs. • Analyzing customer data from various sources including but not limited to web analytics and online customer feedback, to identify UX pain points and deliver them to stake holders with appropriate solutions. • Conducting competitive analysis and recommending appropriate changes and enhancements to improve the user experience and stay in high competition with the market standards. • Conducting Heuristic evaluations on various tools to identify the flaws and recommend appropriate enhancements to comply with the usability standards.
